Meet HEN’s Chair! Riggs Lewis is the System Vice President, Health Policy, for Norton Healthcare and currently serves as chair of Greater Louisville Inc.’s Health Enterprises Network.

Lewis joined Norton Healthcare in November 2015. In this role, he oversees all external policy, legislative and regulatory matters in Kentucky and Indiana. In addition, he oversees the government relations strategy for the organization at the local, state and federal levels.

“The Health Enterprises Network has a long-standing reputation as a major driver of economic growth in Louisville’s healthcare industry. I am honored to work with GLI and HEN members to steer the network through a new and exciting phase of growth while promoting investor engagement that makes HEN invaluable for the healthcare ecosystem,” said Lewis

In addition to his leadership of HEN, Lewis remains engaged throughout the Greater Louisville community. Last year, he created the Louisville Medical and Education District (LOUMED) to educate city leaders about the economic impact of the city’s aging downtown medical center and the need for long term urban planning and investment. He currently serves on the Louisville Downtown Development Corporation Board of Directors, GLI’s Public Policy Council, and leads a state-wide effort to promote Medicaid expansion.
