Bamboo Health is positioning itself for its rapid growth goals in 2022 by boosting its workforce, its newly appointed CEO said.

Bamboo Health was previously Appriss Health and PatientPing. It’s a health tech company focused on providing information and actionable insights across the entire continuum of care.

Rob Cohen, previously the president and general manager of Bamboo, stepped into the CEO position in December. Though it’s a new title for him, he’s been running Bamboo for about five and a half years, he said during an interview with Business First.

We previously reported that Bamboo transitioned into an independent company from its status as one of Appriss Inc.’s business units. Appriss Inc. remains the holding company for Bamboo.

“Having run [Appriss Health] for that long, I just have that familiarity with the business, that consistency of vision that I’ve had for a while that we’re still executing on,” Cohen said. “That’s very helpful, but certainly that step up [to CEO] was all about the preparation and support I received from them under that Appriss umbrella.” Read full article here.
