HEN board member to be new leader of downtown partnership

The nonprofit organization focused on economic development in Louisville’s urban core has named a new permanent leader.

Rebecca Fleischaker, who currently serves as co-chief of Louisville Forward, the city’s economic development arm, and director of the city’s economic development department, will be the new executive director of the Louisville Downtown Partnership starting in December, the nonprofit announced Monday.
