Two members of the board of directors of Republic Bank & Trust Co. and its parent company, Republic Bancorp, Ernest W. Marshall Jr. and George Nichols III, were recently recognized among SAVOY Magazine’s 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.

Marshall has more than 24 years of global HR experience, currently serving as the executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Eaton, a $21 billion power management company with more than 90,000 employees globally. Prior to Eaton, Marshall served as the vice president, human resources leader for GE Aviation. He currently also serves on the boards of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Kindway organization, and is also a member of Bellarmine University’s board of trustees.
