Doctors, nurses, public health experts.  Louisville women have been on the front lines, leading the charge in Louisville’s battle against COVID-19 for more than a year. Some have balanced families with protecting a city. Women lead the health department. Women lead the Greater Louisville Medical Society. A woman designed the LouVax mass vaccination site at Broadbent Arena, which was also led by a woman. The Courier Journal recently shared stories of these women from HEN member companies:
  • Dr. Ruth Carrico, with UofL School of Medicine
  • Dr. Sara Moyer and Connie Mendel with the Louisville Health Department
  • Dr. Monalisa Tailor with GLMS and Norton Healthcare
  • Dr. Valerie Briones-Pryor with UofL Health and GLMS
