Diversity is hard to find among the highest paid leaders at elite research universities. You can’t explain this away by saying it takes time for potential leaders to work their way up. It’s not true. The pipeline has been diverse for years. On the face of things, diversity and inclusion seem to be sacrosanct values at our nation’s colleges and universities.
