During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen a rise in anti-Asian attacks and violence that is appalling and unacceptable. As committed allies, we must take action against racism and xenophobia. With this mission in mind, we are contributing more than $1M towards organizations taking action to help eradicate violence and discrimination.
$500,000 each from PwC and the PwC Charitable Foundation will support three organizations fighting for the civil and human rights of the Asian community:
- The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund
- Asian Americans Advancing Justice
- The ACLU Foundation
These nonprofits are driving meaningful change throughout the country, elevating critical issues affecting the Asian community and helping secure equity for all. PwC will match our people’s charitable giving towards these organizations and provide additional grants of up to $1,000 for eligible crowdfunders supporting other organizations taking action to support the Asian community.
