Kindred Healthcare, LLC (“Kindred” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of Jason Zachariah as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Zachariah will oversee Kindred’s Hospital Division, Kindred Rehabilitation Services (“KRS”), and Kindred Behavioral Health.

Mr. Zachariah was appointed Chief Operating Officer in January 2020, and President of KRS in 2016. As President of KRS, Mr. Zachariah oversaw the strategic growth of KRS and the creation of a best-in-class joint venture model that produced a robust development pipeline. He also played a key role in driving enterprise-wide initiatives related to culture, inclusion and equity, and employee engagement. Mr. Zachariah joined Kindred in 2006 and held various roles in the Hospital Division before being named Chief Operating Officer of Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services in 2013.
