Waystar’s latest survey explores telehealth adoption from the healthcare provider and administrator perspectives. Respondents weighed in on the effects of COVID-19, challenges and opportunities in telemedicine, technology used and predictions for the future.

Survey Methodology

In mid-2020, Waystar surveyed a random sample of the company’s client base. Respondents represent a mix of physician practices, alternative care sites, and hospitals and health systems across 42 states. A total of 181 participants were screened for telehealth usage. If they reported no telehealth adoption, the survey ended. 143 respondents (79%) reported some telehealth usage and went on to complete the survey. 75% described their locations as urban or suburban and 25% as rural.
