As a member of BKD National Health Care Group, Chris assists health care providers with reimbursement consulting an revenue and performance management solutions. His experience includes rate setting, forecasting budgeting, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, cost accounting, CDM management and product line analysis
He has more then 20 years of experience in health care finance, In addition to his time at BKD, Chist spent eight years as a health care consultant and auditor with a large international accounting firm and four years as controller and budget manager with a large Kentucky-based health care system. He has worked with large urban health care systems, rural referral center, critical access hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, hospital/physician joint ventures and skilled nursing facilities.
Chris is a Fellow o the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). He is an active member and past president of the Kentucky Chapter of the HFMA. He also serves on the board of directors for Health Enterprises Network and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a 1997 graduate of University of Louisville, Kentucky, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
