Michael is a litigator and advisor in the areas of business and fiduciary litigation and health care law.
He is a partner and member of the firm’s Litigation and Healthcare Practice Groups.
He has spent much of his career helping clients resolve business and fiduciary disputes. He
represents clients in litigation and dispute resolution involving breaches of contract or warranty,
breach of fiduciary duty, estates and trusts, unfair competition, trade secrets, and enforcement of
noncompetition agreements and other restrictive covenants. He handles trials, injunction hearings,
and appeals in state and federal courts.

Michael also devotes a substantial part of his practice to matters in the healthcare industry. He
regularly advises physicians and physician groups regarding a variety of business, ownership,
regulatory and employment matters. He has represented health care providers in court proceedings,
medical staff proceedings, government investigation and audits, and before licensure boards.
