David Buschman assumed the role of sales manager and assistant program director for the Health Enterprises Network in March 2010. In this capacity, David will identify and build relationships with prospective member companies and work to support and retain existing member companies. He will also assist in the planning and coordination of events.
David brings to the network over 18 years of experience in business-to-business sales, community outreach and marketing in the medical, business, proprietary education and government arenas. He has shown great effectiveness in past sales positions as evidenced by increasing employment opportunities by 300 percent while in the role of career center director at National College. In the retail industry, David was responsible for a consistent annual increase of revenues in the range of 30 to 35 percent. This increase resulted in the doubling of sales in a 3-year period for his territory.
Experienced in organizing, implementing and hosting internal and external events, David has planned and executed events for audiences exceeding 3,000, including a health career exposition. He will be a great asset to the Network’s knowledge networking opportunities and programming.
David holds a bachelor of arts in communications with a concentration in public relations from the University of Louisville. Among several notable training designations, David earned a "High-Impact Presentations Certification" from Dale Carnegie Training.
